Babe Uchida (内田 ベイブ, Uchida Beibu) is a supporting character in the Sound! Euphonium series. She is a student at Kitauji High School one year above Kumiko Oumae who is a tenor saxophonist in the school's concert band.

Babe has livid hair with bangs swept to sides and pigtails. She has dark green eyes.
Background[]
Babe is the mediator between all the first year sax players, so the section leader Sumiko Hirao relies on her.[1]
Etymology[]
- Babe's surname Uchida means "inside, within" (内) (uchi) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).

- Babe has three younger brothers, so she's the older sister they all rely on. [1]
