Eru Kabutodani (兜谷 える Kabutodani Eru) is a side character of Sound! Euphonium. She is a new first-year at Kitauji High School who joins the band as a bassoonist in Kumiko Oumae's second year.

Eru loves Japanese weapons and armor who can't stop feeling emotional over the other double-reed section members’ names.
Etymology[]
- Eru's surname Kabutodani means "helmet, headpiece" (兜) (kabuto) and "valley" (谷) (tani/dani).
