Hisae Takano (高野 久恵, Takano Hisae) is a supporting character in the Sound! Euphonium series. She is a student at Kitauji High School in the same year as Kumiko Oumae who plays clarinet in the school's concert band. She became the clarinet section leader during her third year.
Appearance[]
Hisae is a fairly tall teenage girl with quite short black hair and bluish-grey eyes.
She is usually seen with a normal Kitauji High School uniform for female first-year students.
Personality[]
Hisae is a steady who looks after the first years in the clarinet section well and she acts as their older sister.[1]
Etymology[]
- The name Hisae means "long time" (久) (hisa) and "favor, benefit" (恵) (e).
- Hisae's surname Takano means "tall, high" (高) (taka) and "field, wilderness" (野) (no).
Trivia[]
- In her first-year, Hisae did not make the auditions and was a member of Team Monaka.
- In her first-year, Hisae marched with the sign during SunFes.
