Synopsis[]
Travel edition[]
Kumiko and Reina are going on a trip to Nagoya together by Shinkansen. While waiting in the station they plan out their trip. Kumiko wants to try a lot of different foods and check out some places she is interested in. Reina stumbles upon chick-shaped puddings called piyorin that she wants to bring back to Noboru Taki.
Reina brought her trumpet along so that she could practice at the studio of a friend of her father. Kumiko is jealous as she wants to practice too and Reina offers to rent a euphonium once there so they can practice together.
Reina edition[]
Once in the shinkansen, Kumiko complains that she's hungry. Then she asks Reina about what she wants for her birthday. She does not want anything in particular. She'll go to school and practice but wants to give her gift to Taki. As Kumiko grows hungrier she cannot wait to get to Nagoya.
