Kotoko Himegami (姫神 琴子 Himegami Kotoko) is a supporting character in Sound! Euphonium series. She was a student at Kitauji High School two years above Kumiko Oumae who played flute in the school's concert band. Also she was the band's flute section leader during Kumiko's first year.
Appearance[]
Kotoko is a light-skinned teenage girl with shoulder-length light brown hair that has ringlets with two short strands of hair framing her face and fuchsia-colored eyes.
Personality[]
Kotoko seems to be a kind and friendly girl who protected her friend when she was reprimanded by Noboru Taki in Episode 4 of the first season anime.
Etymology[]
- The name Kotoko means "Japanese harp" (琴) (koto) and "child" (子) (ko).
- Kotoko's surname Himegami means "princess, young lady of noble birth" (姫) (hime) and "god" (神) (kami/gami).
- It can also mean "god-princess" backwards.
Trivia[]
- Kotoko takes part in the section leader meeting in Episode 4.
