Motoko has shoulder-length light brown hair with long bangs, wavy ends and is adorned with two red X-shaped hairclips. She has indigo blue eyes and quite thick eyebrows. Motoko usually wears a brownish-yellow sleeveless sweater vest outside of her uniform.
Background[]
Motoko is in the same class as the oboist Ririka Kenzaki. Occasionally, their homeroom teacher will liven it up as “Grandpa-sensei”. She has played percussion since middle school, so her sense of rhythm is exceptionally good. She got hit in the head with a baseball when she was 8 years old.[1]
Etymology[]
The name Motoko means "heart, mind, soul" (心) (moto) and "child" (子) (ko).
Motoko's surname Higashiura means "east" (東) (higashi) and "inlet, bay, gulf, creek, cove" (浦) (ura).
