Sari Yoshii (義井 沙里 Yoshī Sari), also romanized as Sally, is a supporting character in the Sound! Euphonium series. She is a student at Kitauji High School two years below Kumiko Oumae who is a clarinetist in the school's concert band.
Appearance[]
Sari is a teenage girl of an average build with long black hair, that has two long strands falling down the side of her face to frame it, accompanied by short bangs. She has olive-green eyes.
She has been depicted wearing the standard Kitauji High School uniform for first-year females.
Personality[]
Sari is a person with experience in brass bands and has excellent performance skills.
Etymology[]
- The name Sari means "sand" (沙) (sa) and "village" (里) (ri).
- She shares her name with Sari Takahashi.
- Sari's surname Yoshii means "righteous" (義) (yoshi) and "well, mine shaft, pit" (井) (i).
Trivia[]
- According to the Sound! Euphonium website, Sari attended the same junior high school as Mirei Suzuki, meaning she is from Minami Junior High School.
- Sari's hobby is reading Buddhist texts.
