Shuugo Matsutake (松武 愁吾, Matsutake Shūgo) is a supporting character in the Sound! Euphonium series. He is a student at Kitauji High School two years below Kumiko Oumae who is a trumpeter in the school's concert band.

- The name Shuugo means "distress, grieve, lament" (愁) (shuu) and "I, my, our, one's own" (吾) (go).
- Shuugo's surname Matsutake means "pine tree" (松) (matsu) and "warrior, military, chivalry" (武) (take).
