The first three novels of Sound! Euphonium covering Kumiko's first year were adapted into manga format by the mangaka Hami. It was serialized on the website Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Web. Afterwards, the chapter were published in 3 tankōbon comprising a total of 7 volumes, each corresponding to a novel, by Konomanga. Some chapters are readable online at the publisher's website.[1] The character designs, by Nikki Asada, are different from the novel covers as well as the anime adaptations. It is unlikely the adaptation will continue to cover the rest of the Sound! Euphonium year novels.
Tankōbon 1 : Welcome to Kitauji's High School Concert Band[]
The first tankōbon contains 19 chapters across 3 volumes. It was published on April 3, 2015 on the website.
The story follows Sound! Euphonium: Welcome to the Kitauji High School Concert Band, from Kumiko Oumae's arrival at Kitauji up to the Prefectural tournament.
Tankōbon 2 : The Hottest Summer of Kitauji's High School Concert Band[]
The second tankōbon contains 16 chapters across 2 volumes. It was published on September 8, 2016 on the website.
The story follows the events of Sound! Euphonium 2: The Hottest Summer of the Kitauji High School Concert Band. It follows Kumiko's first year from the Prefectural tournament to the Kansai one, concentrating on Mizore Yoroizuka's arc.
Tankōbon 3 : The Greatest Crisis of Kitauji's High School Concert Band[]
The third tankōbon contains 17 chapters across 2 volumes. It was published on July 20, 2017 on the website.
This tankōbon follows the story from Sound! Euphonium 3: The Greatest Crisis of the Kitauji High School Concert Band, concentrating on Asuka Tanaka's arc and goes all the way to the end of Kumiko's first year.
