Storyline (ストーリーライン Sutōrīrain) is a character song made for the third season of Sound! Euphonium. It is a duet between the characters Kumiko Oumae and Shuuichi Tsukamoto.
The song uses gikun repeatedly, especially when they say "Storyline", written as 五線譜 (Gosenfu) which means a music staff. They're written in parentheses in the lyrics below.

Flowing clouds
Where should we go next?
Goodbye to the sunflower season—
It feels a little chilly.
What blooms so proudly
Is the journey ahead.
I understand, but even so,
I can’t pick up the pace.
In September, raindrops feel cold,
In October, the dry sky looks so beautiful.
The melodies that overlap
Find themselves always searching
For things that never change.
Well then, see you tomorrow.
The familiar continuation
Of our "goodbye" depends on us.
Invisible things, subjective lines—
Draw one, then another—
On the musical staff (storyline).
As we go beyond each day
That turns like a page,
Loneliness shifts its hue
And becomes reality.
No matter how many books
I scour through,
This restless feeling
Can’t be described.
In February, breath and hands grow cold,
In March, cherry blossoms flutter down.
Precious moments—
What spills over
Are memories of how sincere we were.
Well then, let's begin again from here.
The continuation of our first-ever
"Goodbye" is up to us.
It’s not a test; it’s a path entrusted to us—
Running alone, then together—
On the musical staff (storyline).
Where will we greet
The next sunflower season?
When we look back one day,
I want to be someone we can be proud of.
Well then, see you tomorrow.
The familiar continuation
Of our "goodbye" depends on us.
Invisible things, subjective lines—
Draw one, then another—
On the musical staff (storyline).
“Well then, see you tomorrow.”
