Yutaka Asano (浅野 勇高, Asano Yutaka) is a supporting character in the Sound! Euphonium series. He is a student at Kitauji High School two years below Kumiko Oumae who is a trombonist in the school's concert band.

- The name Yutaka means "courage" (勇) (yu) and "tall, high, expensive" (高) (taka).
- Yutaka's surname Asano means "shallow, superficial, frivolous" (浅) (asa) and "plains, field, rustic" (野) (no).
